UK’s largest Muslim group slams BBC for not condemning “Tory Islamophobia”

You won’t hear the UK’s largest Muslim group, the Muslim Council of Britain, come out and condemn the rampant problem of Muslim rape gangs that have plagued the UK. Nor will it say anything about Sadiq Khan’s London, which has become a hotbed of crime, where jihad preachers speak and recruit freely. An Islamic State jihadist also “tried to create jihadist child army in east London.” A “knife crime epidemic has also struck London,” and a Muslim migrant “acid gang” was sentenced in January following violent, unprovoked attacks on gays. London gangs also include “the Mali Boys,” which are becoming more “organised, ruthless and driven by drugs profits.” Mali is a Muslim country plagued by Islamic rebel groups aiming to impose strict Islamic law across the country.
What you will hear in the UK, however, is how “Islamophobic” the UK has become, despite its infamous reputation linked to Muslim migration. Even Labor Party Muslim politician Naz Shah once retweeted (with no political consequences) that victims of Muslim rape gangs should shut up for the good of diversity.
In this case, the BBC is being accused of not reporting enough about so-called “Islamophobia.”
Despite the current deplorable state of the UK, which is linked to its immigration policies, Metro News reported:
“The country’s leading Muslim representative body has written to the BBC to raise its concerns about the ‘lack of proportionate coverage given to the Conservative Party’s institutional Islamophobia’.
As usual, the Muslim Council of Britain levies a serious accusation of “institutional Islamophobia” with no adequate explanation of why, beyond certain “offensive” comments that may have emerged from the Conservative camp. The MCB does not recognize why there there may be pervasive concerns about Islam and consider whether those concerns might be valid. It is easier to shut down all discourse with the “Islamophobia” battering ram if anyone says something that the MCB believes offends Islam. Let’s hope that the BBC will stand up to the MCB, but a good piece of advice would be not to hold your breath.

The country’s leading Muslim representative body has written to the BBC to raise its concerns about the ‘lack of proportionate coverage given to the Conservative Party’s institutional Islamophobia’.
The letter by the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), addressed to BBC director general Tony Hall, says the BBC has failed to be ‘impartial and consistent in its coverage on similar issues’ and calls on the public broadcaster to give racism against Muslims ‘equal importance’.
Written by the MCB Secretary General Harun Khan, the letter goes on to state that given the widespread prevalence of Islamophobia, both in society and at ‘every level of the Conservative Party’, which is a major cause for concern to British Muslims, the ‘failure of the BBC to report on this extensively during this election is deeply disappointing’.
The letter states: ‘Islamophobia is not just prevalent in political discourse, but also in society and on the streets. ‘Religious hate crime in England and Wales rose by 40% to its highest level in 2017-18, with more than half of all religiously-motivated attacks being directed at Muslims. ‘Islamophobia in our country’s governing party, therefore, is of huge concern to British Muslims, and the failure of the BBC to report on this extensively during this election is deeply disappointing and neglects to represent an issue of great importance to society at large.’
It adds: ‘The BBC, as a public service broadcaster, has a responsibility to report fairly on issues within all political parties that affect society. ‘Yet, particularly during this General Election, it has not given due prominence to the Conservative Party’s systemic problem with Islamophobia.’…
