Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) is leading a band of RINOs to work with Democrats in the Senate to push legislation enacting regulations meant to defeat global warming.

Romney told CBS This Morning that he is happy to work with the Democrats to counteract President Donald Trump and other “neanderthals” who have not accepted the globalist propaganda on so-called climate change.

“We look a bit like neanderthals. It’s real. We’ve got to take action,” Romney said on the heels of the announcement of the Senate’s bipartisan “climate caucus.”

Romney is joined by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Mike Braun (R-IN) in colluding with the Democrats to push for sweeping environmental regulations. Sens. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Chris Coons (D-CT), Michael Bennet (D-CO), and Angus King (I-ME) are happy to take advantage of these RINO useful idiots who are capitulating on this key issue.

“I’ve got four kids that took a poll among them, ‘what do you think of this idea?’ and they love it,” Braun said to CBS This Morning.

They are pushing back against Trump’s pro-business economic policies that have essentially nullified environmental regulations that killed job growth and sent energy prices soaring.

“I think science is more and more clear and I think that people will either be convinced or not as time goes on,” Romney said.

“You know, I think many [fellow Republicans] probably just were not willing to say it, but, to me, it’s chemistry and physics, and I’m not going to deny that,” Braun said.

The new climate caucus is already meeting with CEOs and discussing the possibility of a carbon tax. The caucus makes it clear that they are slowly working toward that goal.

“If we go there right away, I think we will probably be doing the whole thing a disservice,” Braun said of a carbon tax.

“I think all the ideals will be on the table,” Romney said.

The RINOs in the climate caucus hope to undo Trump’s environmental reforms, which are bringing back a coal industry that was devastated by Obama-era regulations.
