Scandal at the memorial service for the murder victims of Kottingbrunn: Guest Canan K. (37) was brutally attacked because she wore no headscarf.
After the killings of Tugba A. (29) and her children Tuana (23 months) and Selman (11 months), relatives attended a funeral in Bad Vöslau. There it came to a scandal.
Family executed
On October 27 in his home in Kottingbrunn, Samet A. (31) is said to have executed first his wife and then his almost two-year-old daughter with a kitchen knife. After that he suffocated his son. The Austro-Turk is in custody.
Tugba A. and her children were prepared for the funeral in Turkey at the ATIB mosque in Castelligasse on Wednesday. After that, the funeral service took place in the house of the mother of the victim.
Police immediately alerted the rescue
Canan K. was also there with two friends. After the 37-year-old entered the house, she was attacked by a woman, apparently the cousin of the deceased woman. “Go away, you whore, you dare to show up here without a headscarf,” the assailant is reported to have said. “The woman was mad at me. Then a man spat in my face. Nearly 20 Turks came and attacked us. They also hit my car. I drove to the police immediately. From there, I was taken to hospital in an ambulance. I have large bruises and hematomas on the face,” said Canan K.
