Airport employees in the Caribbean say they regularly saw billionaire Jeffrey Epstein transporting girls to ‘pedophile island’ as recently as this year.
Two air traffic control workers on St Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands allegedly saw girls ‘who couldn’t have been older than 16’ being transported to Epstein’s private retreat at nearby Little St. James Island.
Locals say Epstein, 66, continued to bring underage girls to his 70-acre estate as recently as this year despite being registered as a sex offender more than a decade ago.
‘On multiple occasions I saw Epstein exit his helicopter, stand on the tarmac in full view of my tower, and board his private jet with children – female children,’ one airport worker told Vanity Fair.
‘One incident in particular really stands out in my mind, because the girls were just so young. They couldn’t have been over 16.
‘Epstein looked very angry and hurled his jacket at one of them.’
The girls reportedly arrived with Epstein aboard one of his two Gulfstream jets January 2018 and June 2019.
Another airport employee told how Epstein would land at St. Thomas twice a month on average.
‘There’d be girls that look like they could be in high school,’ the second worker said.
‘They looked very young. They were always wearing college sweatshirts. It seemed like camouflage, that’s the best way to put it.’
The employee said he and colleagues would joke with one, saying ‘How many kids are onboard this time?, because of Epstein’s apparently brazen attitude.
They also said they felt ‘pure disgust’ that he was allowed to get away with it and claimed the alleged abuse was ignored because ‘he tipped well’.
‘The fact that young girls were getting out of his helicopter and getting into his plane, it was like he was flaunting it,’ the employee says.
