Kazakhistan national Maratovich Asainov, a top ISIS sniper, was detained overseas by the Syrian Democratic Forces and was later transferred to US custody and arrived at JFK on Thursday, the feds said.
Asainov, 41, was a naturalized US citizen born in Kazakhstan who lived in Brooklyn between 1998 and 2013.
Then he left for Syria to fight with ISIS.

Asainov is the latest in a long list of migrants to US who later joined ISIS.
Trump was right about US immigrants joining ISIS.
A report by NBC News lists 15 Americans who have left the US to join ISIS. At least nine of these ISIS members were immigrants or refugees to the United States. Another 250 Americans have tried to join ISIS.
