President Trump CAN Claim Emergency to Build Border Wall: Obama Claimed Emergency in Libya, Gave Rebels Arms and Then Killed Their Leader!

President Trump can claim a state of national emergency on the southern border and build a wall. Obama claimed a state of emergency in Libya, then gave them arms and murdered their leader!
President Trump announced on Friday that he could build a border wall on the southern border if he chooses. All he has to do is declare a state of national emergency and then build the wall. Even Democrats know that this is correct. Democrat Congressman Adam Smith, the chairman of the House Armed Service Committee, has explained that President Donald Trump does in fact have the authority to use the US military to build a border wall.
Of course President Trump can do this. Just look at former President Barack Obama.
In 2011 Obama declared a national state of emergency related to Libya. According to reports in February of 2011 –
“President Obama issued an executive order Friday evening that imposes immediate sanctions on Libyan ruler Muammar al Qaddafi, his sons and his accomplices in the slaughter of civilians. In a letter accompanying the order, Obama declared a national emergency over the situation.
Obama’s national emergency lasted his entire term and was renewed up through January of 2017, shortly before President Trump’s inauguration. Obama, in a letter to the House of Representatives, stated upon the 2017 renewal –
“I have sent to the Federal Register for publication the enclosed notice stating that the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13566 of February 25, 2011, with respect to Libya is to continue in effect beyond February 25, 2017.
Colonel Muammar Qadhafi, his government, and close associates took extreme measures against the people of Libya, including by using weapons of war, mercenaries, and wanton violence against unarmed civilians. In addition, there was a serious risk that Libyan state assets would be misappropriated by Qadhafi, members of his government, members of his family, or his close associates if those assets were not protected. The foregoing circumstances, the prolonged attacks, and the increased numbers of Libyans seeking refuge in other countries caused a deterioration in the security of Libya, posed a serious risk to its stability, and led me to declare a national emergency to deal with this threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.
The Government of National Accord (GNA), which was established through the Libyan-led and U.N.-facilitated Libyan Political Dialogue, has sought to bolster its support in Libya but continues to face obstacles from spoilers and hardliners. The House of Representatives in eastern Libya, which the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) stipulates should function as the GNA’s legislature, continues its attempts to compete with, rather than work with, the GNA. GNA-aligned forces, backed by air strikes and intelligence support from the U.S. military, successfully ousted the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) from Sirte; however, ISIL and other terrorist groups continue to pose a threat to Libyan stability as well as U.S. and allied interests outside Libya. Recent clashes between militias highlight the continued threat of violence in Libya and the potential for renewed fighting over the country’s resources, and we run the risk of further destabilization if sanctions do not remain in effect.
Obama, and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, not only created a state of national emergency related to Libya but he then gave the ISIS fighters arms in the region and therefore helped the terrorists overthrow the Qadhafi government. These thugs eventually captured their leader and murdered him on live television.
Hillary Clinton was so proud of the terrorists she claimed, using a phrase from ancient Rome, “We came, we saw, he died.”
Hillary and the Clinton Foundation reportedly made millions on the Libyan quagmire that still goes on to this day. The Obama Administration was complicit in the movement of arms in Libya and the Middle East and were running guns out of the US Embassy in Benghazi. Arms that eventually made it into the hands of US enemies like ISIS and the Taliban. This is why they tried to cover up the 9-11 bombing of the Benghazi Embassy and murder of four brave Americans there. They didn’t want anyone to know what they were really doing there.
Clearly if Obama could declare a state of national emergency related to Libya and give terrorists arms in the process, President Trump can declare a state of emergency on the Southern border and build a wall!!!
