Trump RAGES at Macron in shock WW2 attack: ‘You were learning GERMAN before US came along’
DONALD Trump has launched a blistering attack against Emmanuel Macron after the French president relaunched the idea of creating an EU Army to protect the European Union from China, Russia and even the US.

Today, just two days after Remembrance Day, the US President took to Twitter to unleash his rage against Mr Macron’s proposal. Referring to the Nazi occupation of southern France during World War 2, Mr Trump argued France should remember what the US did to defend Mr Macron’s country rather than branding Washington as a threat. Mr Trump wrote: “Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the US, China and Russia.
“But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two – How did that work out for France?
“They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!”
Mr Trump added his French counterpart is suffering from “a very low approval rating”.
He wrote: “The problem is that Emmanuel suffers from a very low Approval Rating in France, 26%, and an unemployment rate of almost 10%.
“He was just trying to get onto another subject. By the way, there is no country more Nationalist than France, very proud people-and rightfully so!
“MAKE FRANCE GREAT AGAIN!”
Mr Macron took a major swipe at Mr Trump’s “America First” policies on Sunday, while delivering his speech at the Arc de Triomphe on Remembrance Day.
The French president said: “By saying ‘our interests first. Who cares about the others?’ we erase what nation holds dearest, what gives it life, what makes it great, and what is essential: its moral values.”
