BREXIT supporter Julia Hartley-Brewer has ripped into Theresa May’s vow that she will not accept compromises on her Chequers plan “that are not in our national interest”.

Theresa May has vowed to stick by her controversial Chequers plan despite it facing criticism for pro-Brexit supporters in her own party.
Mrs May has said that she will not accept compromises on her Brexit blueprint “that are not in our national interest”.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, BBC’s Jo Coburn claimed this left Mrs May a lot of “wriggle room” which infuriated Julia Hartley-Brewer.
Ms Hartley-Brewer said: “It also gives Philip Hammond a lot of wriggle room as well doesn’t it.
“We have also got this ridiculous situation where we have got a Prime Minister leading us through Brexit who still won’t say how she would vote if she could vote again today which I still think is mind-blowing.”
Responding to the remarks, Ms Hartley-Brewer then argued Theresa May had already compromised with her Brexit plan.
She said: “As a Brexiteer, I am encouraged by the fact that there is no second referendum.
“But the idea that she will not compromise on Chequers. She has compromised all the way.
