London bloodbath: Man in his 50s stabbed to death in Catford as crimewave rages on
A MAN in his 50s has been stabbed to death at a house in Catford in south-east London in the early hours of this morning, the Metropolitan police has confirmed.

A police spokesman said they attended a house in Ringstead Road, SE6 after a 999 call at 4am, with the man pronounced dead at 5.28am.
He added: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and found a man, believed to be in his 50s suffering from stab injuries.
“He was taken to a south London hospital where his died at 05:28 hours.
“His next of kin have not been informed.”
A formal identification has yet to be made and a post mortem examination will be held in due course.
The spokesman said: “The Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.
“No arrests at this stage. Enquiries are ongoing.”
The tragedy is the latest in a series of fatal stabbings which has claimed the lives of at least 51 people since the start of the year.
London Metropolitan Police statistics show offences in July 2016 totalled 68,235 and in July 2018 totalled 74,487, a 9.2 percent increase.
A vicious fight outside Landor House near Camberwell’s Elmington Estate saw four men taken to hospital with serious injuries, including a teenager who was disembowelled in a horrific attack yesterday.
Shaun Bailey, a member of the London Assembly and deputy leader of the Conservative Greater London Authority Group, told Express.co.uk earlier today fear was growing across London – and pointed the finger at London Mayor Sadiq Khan for not tking “swift action”.
Mr Bailey said: “I’m devastated to hear of the quadruple stabbing overnight.
