Donald Trump has thrown yet another punch at special counsel Robert Mueller on Twitter by sharing a quote from Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro.

Pirro, whose book Liars, Leakers and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy was promoted by the president in the Oval Office last month, called for Mueller to end his investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign on her Fox News show Justice With Judge Jeanine last night.

Trump himself had apparently tuned in to the segment, tweeting on Sunday morning: ‘.@JudgeJeanine “Bob Mueller, isn’t your whole investigation premised on a Fake Dossier, paid for by Hillary, created by a man who hates Donald Trump, & used to con a FISA Court Judge. Bob, I really think it’s time for you to give up your phony investigation.” No Collusion!’

The president has on multiple occasions slammed the unverified dossier compiled by ex-British spy Christopher Steele, which alleges the Russians possessed information that it used to blackmail Trump into running for office.

Mueller’s team has reportedly used the dossier as a source of information about Trump’s business dealings in Russia during its collusion investigation.

Pirro has repeatedly defended Trump from the perch of her Fox News program, which is said to be one of his favorites.

Earlier this year it was reported that the White House communications staff regularly sends Trump officials to appear on her Saturday night segment because they know the president will be watching.

Pirro dedicated a 10-minute portion of this week’s show to criticizing the ongoing Mueller investigation.

She opened by saying: ‘Unlike everyone on the right, I don’t want the Mueller investigation to end so soon. I want it to keep going on, and on, and on, because every day it gets closer to proving Russia collusion. The collusion, however, with Russia and team Obama, not Trump.’
