Massive 6.5 magnitude EARTHQUAKE strikes off US coast
A HUGE 6.5 magnitude earthquake has been recorded today off the US coast.

The tremor struck 67.4 km east at a depth of just 3km off Kavik River Camp, Alaska.
It is reported the quake, registered by the United States Geological Survey, was followed by three more of “less intensity” at just before 7am local time.
Climatologist Brian Brettschnieder said on Twitter: “M6.4 earthquake near in northeastern Alaska this morning.
“Very unusual location for a large earthquake.
There were no initial reports of damage, Alaska’s Division of Emergency Services said.
Kaktovik is a village of about 260 residents on the edge of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
“No similar magnitude quakes within 300 miles since 1900.”
A powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake did however hit the other side of Alaska in January.
