Netflix says it will not screen a documentary about Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, after his anti-Semitic comments.

My Life’s Journey Through Music was listed as an addition to its service starting on Wednesday, with the controversial preacher promoting it on Twitter.

However, Netflix claimed the documentary was never going to be released on its platform and its promotion was a mistake.

‘Due to an internal miscommunication, it appeared to be scheduled for release on Netflix, but it is not. We apologize for any confusion this has caused,’ it said.

Farrakhan excitedly urged his followers to watch the film about his life in a video posted to his Twitter on Tuesday.

‘My dear viewers and listeners, on August 1 you will be able to view the premiere on Netflix of the minister’s life journey through music,’ he said.

‘And, if you would like to leave a comment of what you think about that documentary, and its music, you can go to LCTWMusic.com and leave your comment. May God bless you – As-Salaam Alaikum.’

What the streaming giant claimed was an embarrassing error came just weeks after Farrakhan posted a video in which he warned about ‘the Satanic Jew’.

‘Will you recognize Satan? I wonder, will you see the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan, which has many races in it because Satan has deceived the whole world?’ he said in the taped sermon.
