On Tuesday, House Speaker Paul Ryan said he supports the release of the FISA memo and cited âpossible malfeasance at the FBI by certain individualsâ.

“House Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday defended the House Intelligence Committeeâs vote to release a four-page memo criticizing the Justice Departmentâs Russia collusion probe, and argued that there âmay have been malfeasance at the FBI by certain individualsâ that requires congressional oversight.
Ryan, R-Wis., and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., talked to GOP lawmakers about the memo at a closed-door meeting in the Capitol basement.
Ryan told reporters after the meeting that itâs the job of Congress âto conduct transparent oversight and get to the bottomâ of possible abuses.
âThere is a legitimate issue here as to whether or not American civil liberties were violated by the FISA process,â Ryan said, referring to the secret court that grants intelligence officials permission to spy on people.
Paul Ryan also praised Rod Rosenstein during the presser claiming the Deputy AG is âdoing a fine job,â
House Speaker Paul Ryan may have given us a clue as to why FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was removed from his post Monday. There are some serious charges coming down on corrupt FBI and DOJ officials involved.
The House Intelligence Committee voted Monday afternoon to release the committeeâs classified FISA Memo.
The vote was along party lines.
