Celeb terror as earthquake rocks Los Angeles: ‘Thought the world was ending’
AN EARTHQUAKE has rocked Los Angeles with witnesses reporting “terrifying shaking” just days after a massive tremor off the US coast.

The 4.0-magnitude struck near the California city shortly after 2am local time – waking up residents including some famous celebs.
Brooklyn Beckham’s girlfriend actress Chloe Moretz posted she felt the quake on Twitter and TV producer Elan Gale wrote it was “terrifying”.
Tremors were felt throughout the city with witnesses reporting their homes feeling like they were “swaying” and worried the “world was ending”.
It struck at a depth by 6.2 miles and was felt by thousands of people across the major city, according to USGS.
California is one of the most seismically active regions in the US – living in fear of the so-called “Big One”.
The earthquake happens just days after tsunami warnings were in place for the US west coast after a 7.9 quake off Alaska.
Mortez shared a tweet marking the tremor from the LA QuakeBot, that registers all of the seismic events that strike the region.
She wrote: “Whoa. That earthquake just woke me up.”
American actor Matt Lanter replied “yep, felt it too” and musician Sneazzy added “me too”
TV boss Gale, behind hit shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette , also responded to Chloe’s tweet saying the quake was “terrifying”.
The edge of the San Andreas tectonic plate runs straight through LA and most of California – which is known as the San Andreas Fault.
USGS geologists have warned a major earthquake along the boundary would cause severe damage.
Back in 1906, an earthquake along the fault hit San Francisco and killed at least 3,000 people.
