Inspector General Michael Horowitz is investigating Trump-hating FBI agent Peter Strzok for possible Hatch Act breaches according to Paul Sperry of the New York Post.

The Hatch Act prohibits FBI agents from campaigning in partisan races.

The Inspector General has power to refer criminal charges to the Department of Justice for full prosecution, Sperry said.

FBI agent Peter Strzok was removed from the Mueller witch hunt after anti-Trump text messages he sent to his mistress FBI lawyer Lisa Page were discovered.

Strzok was also one of the lead FBI agents on Hillary’s criminal email investigation which received ‘special status’ from the FBI.

The most damning message was an exchange revealing Strzok and Page discussed an ‘insurance policy,’ against a Trump presidency.

The kicker? Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe may have not only been privy to the conversation, but a part of it.
The discussion took place in his office.

The Wall Street Journal is now reporting the “insurance policy”text was a reference to the Russia investigation.

Now this…

Paul Sperry tweeted Tuesday morning, “BREAKING: IG Horowitz investigating anti-Trump agent Strzok for possible Hatch Act breaches. The Hillary case supervisor joins FBI No. 2 McCabe as investigative target concerning illegal “political activities.” IG has power to refer criminal charges to DOJ for full prosecution.”
