BALI VOLCANO Mount Agung continues to cause chaos in the region with experts warning another violent eruption is imminent.

The Bali volcano has spewed vast amount of into the skies above as the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Magma Indonesia, the Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation warning residents of potential danger.

An incredible time-lapse video shows Mount Agung as the Bali volcano continues to erupt, prompting fears of another much larger eruption.

Huge amounts of molten rock can be seen spitting out Mount Agung’s crater as a huge lightning storm rages in the background.

Now the ash from Mount Agung appears to be spreading was from the Bali volcano.

The latest maps released by the Pacific Disaster Centre show that clouds of volcanic ash from Mount Agung are spreading east-southeast, compiling further misery on those hoping to fly off the island.

Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman for Bali’s disaster mitigation agency, said the ash is being impacted by the Chempaka tropical cyclone, which is currently raging south of the island.

Experts have warned despite less volcanic ash spewing from Mount Agung the danger still remains.

Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said the bali volcano was releasing less ash as Mount Agung gradually calms.

He said seismic activity had reduced and no black or grey ash could be seen coming from the top of Mount Agung.
