It has been revealed the crazed leader is coming down hard on his slack army by banning “drinking, singing and other entertainment”.

The crackdown is an effort to stop “a possible negative impact” of harsh new sanctions against Pyongyang following its recent nuclear and missile tests.

South Korea’s National Intelligence Service said it was the first time in nearly two decades that the military has been punished by any North Korean leader.

Their report read: “Pyongyang has devised a system whereby party organs has reported people’s economic hardships on a daily basis.

“But it has now banned any gatherings related to drinking, singing and other entertainment and is strengthening control of outside information.”

The spy agency added it is watching to see if the North will carry out another missile test this year in a desperate bid to ramp up tensions with the US.

It comes as US President Donald Trump announced his intent to declare North Korea a state sponsor of terror.

He called it a long overdue step and part of the US’s “maximum pressure campaign” against the North.
