Tensions have ratcheted between the hermit kingdom and its enemies after the regime carried out a series of reckless missile tests.

Tubby tyrant Kim Jong-un previously fired two intermediate-range ballistic missiles over bitter enemy Japan in a brazen show of force.

The country is now preparing for a World War 3 scenario as Kim continues in his quest for an inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM).

Japan – which ruled Korea with an iron fist from 1910 to 1945 – is getting ready for the prospect of tens of thousands of North Korean evacuees if WW3 breaks out.

The Japan Coast Guard would escort boats fleeing the hermit kingdom and expel anyone deemed a threat – including spies and terrorists, local media report.

Those granted temporary entrance would be placed in emergency detention centres as officials decide whether they can remain in the country.

Junji Ito, an official from the justice ministry’s immigration bureau, said the government was looking at steps to deal with an influx of refugees.

Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso previously raised the possibility of shooting people fleeing North Korea.

He asked: “Will police respond and arrest them on charges of illegal immigration?”

“If the Self-Defense Forces (military) are dispatched, will they shoot them down?”

Last week, Japan sent its largest warship to join US aircraft carriers close to North Korea.
