‘NO ONE is safe’ Black Death plague may spiral out of control like EBOLA
THE Black Death plague in Madagascar may escalate like Ebola meaning no one is safe from the deadly disease’s clutches, an expert has warned.

So far at least 165 people have died in the outbreak and experts worry it will go global and “go for anybody”.
Dr Derek Gatherer, from Lancaster University, revealed the plague could spiral out of control in the same way Ebola did back in 2014.
The fever decimated West Africa and killed 11,000 people.
There are fears this plague will kill many more.
Over 2,000 people have been struck down by the “medieval disease” in Madagascar.
It’s been described as the “worst outbreak in 50 years” and many fear it could go global, even reaching the US and the UK, if it isn’t contained.
Dr Gatherer, of the university’s biomedical and life-sciences department, told Mail Online: “Following the plague is a little bit like following the Ebola outbreak a couple of years ago.
“By standards of plague outbreaks, this one is a whopper really, and we should hope we wouldn’t get more of these in subsequent years.
“We can’t get complacent about it until we get past that April boundary as there’s a danger of a flare-up.”
