Trump and Putin cosy up during key Asia summit in Vietnam

Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin greeted each other at the APEC summit in Vietnam, where they shook hands and exchanged a few words.
Mr Trump approached Russia’s leader at a photo session in the Vietnamese city of Danang. He gave him a friendly slap on the shoulder, agencies reported.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was cited by the RIA news agency as saying that the two men had not held any talks yet however, something Moscow has been trying to set up for days.
Earlier today the Russian government said the two leaders would meet “one way or another”.
