A former longtime Boston television news anchor claims that Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted her then-18-year-old son last summer and that police are now investigating the alleged incident.
Heather Unruh revealed the shocking claim during a press conference on Wednesday alongside her daughter and attorney Mitchell Garabedian, who is best known for representing the victims of the Catholic church sex abuse scandal.
In explaining what allegedly happened, Unruh tearfully said: ‘In July 2016, Kevin Spacey assaulted my son. …
‘The victim, my son, was a star struck 18 –year-old who had no idea this famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim.
‘Kevin spacey had no right to sexually assault him.’
She claims that her son, who was not of legal drinking age, was given several drinks purchased by Spacey.
‘Kevin Spacey bought him drink after drink after drink. When my son was drunk, Kevin Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him.
‘… Kevin Spacey put his hands down my son’s pants and grabbed his genitals.
‘My son panicked, he froze. He was intoxicated.’
Unruh, who did not name her son, said that the actor then left to use the restroom when a concerned woman came to his side and asked if he was okay, to which he said he wasn’t.
