President Donald Trump has just kicked off a whirlwind tour of Asia as he meets with different leaders to discuss the Korea threat.

But the regime has warned it will not succumb to international pressure or surrender its nukes.

A chilling commentary from the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) says it is in “the final stage for completing nuclear deterrence”.

It states: “It (the US) had better stop daydreaming of denuclearisation talks with us.

“Our self-defensive nuclear treasure sword will be sharpened evermore unless the US hostile policy toward the DPRK is abolished once and for all.”

The fiery rhetoric comes as tensions escalate between the hermit kingdom and its enemies.

Last week, the regime held extremely rare mass evacuations and blackout drills in preparation for an imminent war.

Russia today claimed it is not co-operating with the US over the Korea crisis and that there has only been an “exchange of views”.

Kim has conducted six reckless nuclear missile tests this year and the US and its allies have since stepped up military drills on the peninsula.

Last week, a hydrogen bomb was reportedly detonated at the Punggye-ri mountain site which led to two tunnels collapsing.

At least 100 workers excavating the new dig several days after the test were crushed, while another 100 were killed in a second collapse during rescue efforts.

There are fears the radiation could spread to Japan as Trump sets foot in the country.
