DONALD Trump will not allow Kim Jong-un to fire his feared Juche Bird intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), sources say.

US officials have confirmed North Korea is developing an advanced ICBM capable of reaching the US mainland.
The communist state’s missile and nuclear programmes have rapidly accelerated since it tested its first ICBM in July this year.
The new nuclear-tipped missile – dubbed the Juche Bird – is thought to be an advanced version of its existing KN-20 intercontinental ballistic missile.
Analysts believe North Korea is gearing up to fire an ICBM packed with a miniaturised nuclear warhead during 2018.
But a deadly collapse at North Korea’s nuclear testing site has led to speculation Kim could fire the missile sooner than expected.
A pre-emptive strike against North Korea is not an option favoured by the Trump administration, US military sources have said.
But there is a “firm view” that Trump would not allow North Korea to fire an ICBM loaded with a nuclear warhead, sources told CNN.
Officials are monitoring North Korea launch sites for “intelligence indicators” a missile test is about to take place.
A North Korean diplomat warned the US President that threats to detonate a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean should be taken “literally”.
But Pyongyang has been quiet since September 15 – when it fired an ICBM over northern Japan.
South Korean intelligence agencies believe that Kim may be waiting until Trump embarks on his tour of the Pacific to make his next move.
