Kim Jong-un’s tyrannical state launched its intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) yesterday (July 28) despite repeated warnings from heads of state.

It travelled 1,000km before landing in the Sea of Japan, according to the Pentagon.

Japan has since slammed the test as a “clear violation of UN resolutions” and President Donald Trump labelled it as “only the latest reckless and dangerous action by the North Korean regime”.

Video has now emerged appearing to show the warhead falling from the sky just 100 miles from the Japanese mainland.

he night-time scene of Murrain City – on the country’s east coast – is seen in the foreground.

In the distance, a bright light breaks through the clouds and lights up the sky for several moments before fizzling out.

Kim Dong-yub – a defence analyst at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies at Kyungnam University in Seoul – said the missile “would easily reach the West Coast of the United States with a range of 9,000 to 10,000 kilometres”.
