Political Correctness or National Security?

The polemicist known as Eric Zemmour was sentenced on June 22nd to a fine of 5,000 euros for committing the crime of hatred for anti-Muslim remarks held in the program “C to you” in September of 2016.
During the broadcast on France 5, Zemmour stated that it was now necessary to give the Muslims “the choice between Islam and France”. He also stated that “all Muslims, whether they say it or not, regarded the jihadists as “good Muslims.” Subsequently the French court ruled that the remarks made were guilty of the following ramifications from his statements:
1.“undoubtedly serious…”
2.“stigmatizing on several occasions and in particularly violent and peremptory terms, a community taken in its entirety.” Have the French judges been watching the news as ISIS beheads innocent person after innocent person?
The judge subsequently issued a gag order and Zammour is no longer allowed to speak against Muslim transgressions, of any kind in the future, or he will presumably face jail time.
The French Have a Very Short Memory
It strongly appears that the French courts and their political leaders have a very short memory when it comes to the death and destruction perpetrated in just the past year along from radical Muslim terrorists.
