NICK FERRARI has launched an extraordinary attack on British politicians for allowing terrorists to “fester” within communities in the wake of the London Bridge terror attacks.

The Sunday Express columnist insisted the public are not the ones “dragging their feet” trying to prevent deadly attacks in the country as he called on more action from the Government.

Seven people were killed and 48 more injured after three terrorists used a rent van to crash into pedestrians on London Bridge before the knife-wielding attackers left the vehicle and head to Borough Market.

Speaking on his LBC show, Mr Ferrari called for “monocultures” that have been allowed to develop across England to be “broken down”.

He said: “Enough is enough says the Prime Minister. Well the last time I looked, I don’t think it was you and I know it wasn’t me who allowed hate preachers to come in.

“And the last time I looked, I know again it wasn’t me, I wasn’t dragging my feet trying to kick these people out of the country.

“It wasn’t us who allowed this to happen, it wasn’t on our watch. It was on your watch. And these ridiculous policies that have allowed this to fester.

“It is wholly wrong that you are allowed to fester in your own monoculture, just speaking your own language, never ever mingling with people. It won’t work.”

Theresa May, who gave a speech on the steps of Downing Street after the attack, claimed “we cannot allow this ideology the space space it needs to breed”, pinning the blame on the spread of extremism over the internet.
