‘Attack after attack coming – dark days are here’ Terror cop warns of MORE massacres in UK
BRITAIN is facing a wave of deadly attacks as the nation returns to the dark days of IRA-style terror attacks, an anti-terror expert has warned.

Former Met Police counter-terrorism officer David Videcette warned there will be more terrorist attacks on innocent civilians hours after last night’s horror incident.
At least seven people were killed when three jihadis drove a white van down London Bridge, mowing down pedestrians.
They then jumped out of the vehicle and went on a stabbing spree from pub to pub in Borough Market, knifing revellers in the neck.
Witnesses described them yelling “This is for Allah” as the bloodbath unfolded.
The terrorists were wearing gas canisters that looked like suicide bombs strapped to their chests, although these later turned out to be fake.
Speaking to Daily Star Online, Mr Videcette said: “We are going back to the dark days of IRA terrorism when we were having attack after attack after attack.
“Looking back to the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s – all that has changed is the names of the people doing it.”
But despite there being three terror attacks in as many months resulting in the deaths of 34 people, he insisted the country is still safe.
He added: “Since 2005 the number of attacks has risen, but Britain is as safe as it has ever been.
“You’ve only go to look at the response last night – responding to the threat very quickly and eliminating it within eight minutes.
“The police have been quite shrewd and intelligent about what they’re doing – they’ve not released any names.
“They will have identified them, these men wanted to die – they wanted the police to quickly identify them, they want their names out there.
“You look at what happened in Manchester, where the names got released by the American press very early and it ruined opportunities for police tactics going forward.
“I think they’re going to be very careful about who they release that information to, although I guess at some stage their names will start leaking out.”
