Terror fears in Dusseldorf as ‘man armed with AXE goes on rampage at central train station’

Anti-terror police have sealed off the central train station in Dusseldorf, Germany, after a man went on the rampage with an axe.
Trains aren’t stopping at the central station as armed cops flood the area and there are a number of emergency vehicles at the scene.
Dramatic images from the scene show emergency personnel either arresting a suspect or treating an injured person on the floor of the station concourse.
At least one person is believed to have been injured. Two people are now reported to have been arrested as please have scoured the surrounding area.
German news site BILD said cops had not yet given details of the man’s identity, his motive, or confirmed how many people were injured.
Passengers on a train stuck outside the station have been tweeting updates after the station was shutdown.
Germany remains on a high state of alert after a number of terror attacks over the past 12 months.
