President Donald Trump’s first public act of the day was to show his gratitude for the rave reviews his joint address has been getting.
‘THANK YOU,’ Trump said in a message from his personal account.
The first-term president’s joint address to Congress was a hit with most Americans.
Three-quarters, 76 percent, approved of his remarks in a CBS poll. A majority of voters also said that Trump came off as ‘presidential’ including 54 percent of Democrats.
