BREAKING: Gunmen open fire in Istanbul restaurant

TWO gunmen have opened fire on a diners in a restaurant in Istanbul.

Initial reports suggest several people have been wounded in the attack in the city’s Fatih district.

The incident comes just days after 39 people were shot dead by a lone gunman in a New Year’s Eve massacre at a popular Istanbul nightclub.

Turkey remains on high alert after the New Year’s Eve attack.
