A California professor has set off a firestorm of criticism after telling her students Donald Trump’s election was an ‘act of terrorism.’
Olga Perez Stable Cox, an instructor in Orange Coast College’s psychology department, made her comments during a recent human sexuality class, as seen in video posted by a student on Tuesday.
She calls President-elect Trump a ‘white supremacist’ and Vice President-elect Mike Pence ‘one of the most anti-gay humans in this country.’
‘And so we are in for a difficult time but again I do believe that we can get past that,’ the professor said, as heard in footage of the lecture.
‘Our nation is divided, we have been assaulted, it’s an act of terrorism,’ she added. ‘One of the most frightening things for me and most people in my life is that the people creating the assault are among us.’
