Violence, provocations continue against president-elect nationwide

The angry reaction to Donald Trump’s presidential election victory is not letting up, with continued street protests as well as incidents of violence and provocation across the nation.
In downtown Atlanta, a socialist group projected an image of the words “F— Trump” on the side of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The paper said that for about 30 minutes Sunday night, drivers on West Peachtree Street saw the image projected by the Metro Atlanta Democratic Socialists of America.
The chairman of the group, Milt Tambor, said Tuesday he’s seen an increase in membership since the vulgar message began circulating on social media.
“We’ve got people upset and angry with the election,” Tambor told the Atlanta paper.
One conservative commentator thinks many angry “left-wing pundits privately hope someone kills Donald Trump.”
Erick Erickson, the founder of the Red State blog and editor of The Resurgent, wrote in a commentary Wednesday that leftists are engaging in “incendiary rhetoric” against Trump, charging he’s ushering in an age of “Nazism, fascism, racism, homophobia” to the point that “either they really are not grounded in reality or they are hoping to so scare people about Trump that someone will engage in violence.”
“I suspect it is the latter and too few of them are willing to admit it,” he said. “These pundits are actively amping up fear hoping someone will do what they are not brave enough to do.”
