Families up and down the country have been hit with a major glitch after the chip and pin machines at Asda supermarkets across the UK failed.
Angry customers went on to their social media accounts and are fuming that stores all over Britain have been affected by the technical issue.
According to reports shoppers have been forced to wait for up to an hour as the stores try to get to the bottom of the chaotic scenes.
Beck White tweed: “Absolute carnage at @asda, standstill queues for 10 minutes and people queuing up the aisles. Delightful.”
