The Italian government has deployed special forces troops into Libya to kill Islamic State terrorists, according to various Italian sources. “Italian special forces ( Col Moschin regiment and Carabinieri GIS) are fighting along side US Green Berets, British SAS and French special forces in Libya,” says Tomaso Pacinotti, our Italian correspondent. “Sirte, Sidra and Misurata are the 3 cities where the special forces are fighting street by street. Other Italian, USA, British and French forces are demining areas and destroying key buildings with explosives and artillery strikes to ensure that the special forces can fight the enemy without having to storm jihadist strongholds.”
