Planet Nine responsible for SHOVING Solar System off its axis
THE mysterious and elusive Planet Nine may have shoved the Solar System off of its kilter, a team of astronomers have sensationally claimed.

While Planet Nine’s existence has yet to be officially proven, esteemed researchers strongly suspect that there is a large planet lurking in the far edge of our Solar System.
If the planet is there, then it could explain why the Solar System is slightly off balance.
In most star systems, the surrounding planets tend to rotate in line with their host.
However, in ours, the planets are at an angle of six degrees off its axis.
It had been believed that this was caused by another star that the Solar System once crossed paths with, slightly tugging all of the planets off their alignment with the Sun.
However, two sets of researchers now believe that the off-balance of the Solar System is due to the mysterious Planet Nine and its strong gravitational pull.
Elizabeth Bailey, of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, said: “Because we think Planet Nine has a significant inclination, if it exists, then that means it would tilt things.
“It’s one puzzle piece that seems to fit together, and it really seems to be in support of the Planet Nine hypothesis.”
For the planet to have such a strong gravitational pull, it would have to be between five and 20 times the size of Earth.
Additionally, it would have to have an extremely long, oval-like orbit, with its farthest point from the Sun being 250 times the distance between the Sun and the Earth.
