Peter Schiff: Are People Going to Wake Up? The Economy Is Out of Road! (Video)

If these were ordinary times, and someone you knew was struggling financially to stay afloat, or to find work, it might be time to break out the “This is Where the Rubber Meets the Road” Speech! You know the speech… the one where you tell whoever it is to sit up straight, and stop feeling sorry for themselves, because the rubber has ‘officially’ met the road. Then you tell them how anyone can command a ship in calm seas, but it’s a ‘real’ commander who can weather the storm… blah blah.
Well, these are NOT normal times, and the rubber is no longer anywhere near the road. Any pep talk you’re giving is going to be in the middle of a cow pasture, the tires are all blown, and the radiator is about to go, so it better be quick. Might I suggest some of the following lines from Peter Schiff in the interview below:
“When are people going to wake up? They still don’t understand the gravity of the situation. They still have no clue how much damage has been done to the US economy these last seven years. They still have confidence, have faith in the Federal Reserve, have faith in the dollar, believe everything is going to be OK. And just they think well, we’re at a little bump in the road. They don’t realize that we’ve run out of road, or the road has now come to an end and we’re going over a cliff.”
“It’s going to be a dollar crisis. It’s going to be a sovereign debt crisis. And it’s going to bring this whole bubble-economy to its knees.”
