US PATRIOT GROUPS RISE IN NUMBER AS GOVERNMENTAL THREAT TO INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES GROWS
Law enforcement officials call them dangerous, delusional and sometimes violent, and say that their numbers are growing amid a wave of anger at the government that has been gaining strength since 2008, a surge that coincided with the election of the first black U.S. president and a crippling economic recession.

EDITOR’S NOTE: People are not upset with Obama because he is our first, mostly black president. People are upset with Obama because of his Marxist, progressive policies and his relentless glorification of Islam. People are upset with Obama because of his mandates that allow transgender men in the same bathroom as little girls. All across America, a long-simmering rebellion against an increasingly oppressive government that tracks our every move has been brewing. Donald Trump, the anti-politician candidate who wants to return America to the American people, is the far and away favorite. 2016 may just be the year that the American people woke up and decided to reclaim their country. Then Soper helped his 4-year-old daughter, in pink sneakers and a ponytail, work on her marksmanship with a .22-caliber rifle.

It was in the second half of the Twentieth century that the idea that government trumps the individual rights of American citizens was born, but the history of America is steeped in armed resistance. The Patriot Movement has always been an integral part of our history. Our own Declaration of Independence calls for citizens to ‘throw off’ the shackles of government oppression wherever and whenever it should arise
