WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – A significantly lower number of investors now expect the US economy will grow over the next year than the number of investors in October, a Fitch Rating/Fixed Income Forum survey revealed on Thursday.
“Only one-third of those polled now believe economic growth will be 2 percent — 3 percent over the next 12 months — a sharp reduction of the 84 percent who expected this outcome in our last survey in October,” Fitch stated.
The ratings agency noted the remainder of respondents was more pessimistic, expecting a 1-2 percent economic growth in the next 12 months.
