Terror in New York ‘after EXPLOSION on train amid reports of smoke’
PASSENGERS were plunged into terror after hearing “a really loud bang” on a train and apparently seeing billowing smoke.

The thundering sound sent a “stampede” of panicked travellers out of the train where they were met by “a thick blue smoke” pouring out from beneath one of the carriages.
Christopher Landry, who was travelling home at the time of the chilling incident, said: “It was loud enough that you could feel the thud in your chest.
“There was just this wall of people running at me.
“People were probably starting to panic. Everybody just started running toward the stairs.”
