EU ‘Committing Ritual Suicide’ With Migration Policy – Slovak PM

Allowing so many migrants into Europe is “ritual suicide,” and some EU member states are still focused on needless quotas rather than protecting Europe’s borders, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Tuesday.

The EU cannot wait any longer to stop the flow of migrants into Europe, and its policy regarding the migrant crisis has so far been suicidal, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico told Slovak newspaper Pravo on Tuesday.

“I have the feeling that Europe is committing a ritual suicide to which we are all witnesses,” said Fico, who was asked about a comment from European Council President Donald Tusk about the urgency of controlling the number of migrants in Europe.

“We have no more than two months to get things under control,” Tusk told the European Parliament on January 19.
