Feeling empowered, no doubt, by one of the most lawless of all U.S. presidents, fellow Left-wing politicians around the country are also pushing past the limits of their offices, upsetting many Americans along the way who are wondering how they can end the madness.
One of the most outrageous of these recent actions involves the unilateral action of Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy, who has signed the first gubernatorial executive order in the country that bans sales of firearms to any state citizen on a federal government watch list.
Gee, what could go wrong there?
“We intend to prevent, by executive order through my powers as governor, those on government watch lists from obtaining a permit to purchase a firearm in Connecticut,” the Democratic governor said during a news conference just days ago.
Anyone who dares to exercise their Second Amendment right in a state that comprised one of the 13 original U.S. states, has to get permission from a government agency, and submit to a thorough background check, Malloy added.
