Liberal professor calls for complete domestic disarmament as full-scale gun confiscation plan comes into focus
Professor openly admits “micro” efforts to destroy 2nd Amendment not working

In the days since the horrific mass shooting in California left 14 people dead and 17 more injured, many on the left, including President Obama, have called for increased gun control measures.
From a prime-time address to the nation that called for unilaterally banning anyone on a secretive “no fly” list from owning a firearm to major media publications dedicating front page space to editorials that attempt to shame the American people into submission, anti gun zealots have taken their mission into overdrive.
Now, amid all the half-hearted claims by gun control advocates that all they want is “common sense” reform, a liberal professor at a major university has penned an op-ed for the left leaning Huffington Post in which he calls for the complete and total disarming of the American public.
Amitai Etzioni, a professor of international relations at George Washington University, starts his call for mass confiscation with a few paragraphs about how “good progressives” are trying so damn hard to save people from gun violence but the big bad, evil conservatives and that pesky organization called the NRA just keep pushing back.
Etzioni then reveals a belief held by a majority of the anti-gun crowd (who usually choose to keep it to themselves) and that is that reforms like universal background checks won’t ever actually achieve the hard left goal of totally disarming the American people. So instead, Etzioni argues, liberals should publicly call for the “big enchilada”. (emphasis mine)
