he demise of Europe has begun and hardly anyone has noticed. You can tell because there is little discussion of it in places where such events traditionally would be discussed, such as in the news media.
The continent is being overrun by peoples from many different countries, most of them poor. The vast majority of the silent “invaders” are from cultures that, if not hostile to European mores, are at least diametrically opposed to them, most of which are rooted in Christianity. And while there are some public officials calling for an end or lengthened interruption of the exodus, far too many leaders are throwing open the doors to their kingdoms, having been guilted into doing so by bogeymen from the past who still haunt the national psyche.
Germany is a perfect case in point. Chancellor Angela Merkel has already authorized 800,000 mostly Syrian refugees to enter her country, and there are indications she may be willing to let more in.
“We’ve got to reckon there will be 800,000 people coming to Germany as refugees or seeking asylum,” said the interior minister, Thomas de Maiziere, as reported by The Guardian.
“It will be the largest influx in the country’s post-war history,” de Maiziere told a news conference in Berlin, further noting that Germany is likely to see high numbers of migrants for many years.
“It’s a challenge for all of us at the state, federal and local levels,” he said. “We can master this challenge. I don’t think this will overwhelm Germany. We can handle this.”
