‘He shot me!’ Video shows Oklahoma officer killing a man, mistaking gun for Taser

A video has been released that showing a reserve police officer in Tulsa, Oklahoma, shoot and kill an unarmed black man. The officer, 73-year-old Bob Bates, said he used his gun instead of a Taser “by mistake.”
The footage was posted by police, and shows 44-year-old suspect Eric Courtney Harris running down a street away a pursuing police car. The officer runs up to him, puts Harris on the ground, and then a shot is heard – and the suspect starts moaning in pain.
“I shot him. I’m sorry,” Bates’ voice appears to say.
“He shot me!” Harris shouts several times, and then says, “Oh my God, I’m losing my breath.”
Afterwards, one of the officers is heard telling him, “F**k your breath!”
