Today Egon von Greyerz spoke with King World News about the extraordinary trading in the gold and silver markets. Greyerz also discussed whether or not the metals had in fact seen the bottom as well as what investors should expect going forward. Below is what Greyerz, who is founder of Matterhorn Asset Management out of Switzerland, had to say in this exclusive interview.
Eric King: “Egon, gold and silver have turned. We shot up enormously in both of those metals. It feels like the lows are in place here, or we are very close and this is probably a great place for people to start buying physical metal and also the shares.”
Greyerz: “Eric, this is a very interesting day technically. Silver made a new low, but gold did not. And we are seeing, on both gold and silver, bullish divergences here. So this could have been the low for the move, and we may move up from here….
