Three more injured in London in a shooting in Kingsbury Road, Brent, last night. This, on the heels of a spate of attacks over the weekend, across London.

Two men and a woman were hospitalised after reports of gunshots at 21:45 BST. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance service were called to the scene and all injured were taken to hospital, though none of the injuries were life-threatening.

While not considered terror related, it is one more violent crime taking place in the capital, where Mayor Khan considers such things ‘part and parcel’ of living in a city, suggesting that Londoners simply have to adjust to this new and dangerous London.

Over the weekend there was a string of attacks throughout London as violent crime has dramatically increased.

A Greenwich man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a mother and her daughter after ‘smashing them in the head with a hammer’ during the horrendous and unwarranted attack.

Several stabbings took place, one outside Upton Park tube station in broad daylight, another in Mayfair in central London, with no arrests, and in Slade Green, a teen was hospitalised in the second knife attack within a week in the borough of Bexley.

In the previous week there were firearms arrests in Newham and in a shocking stabbing, a teen being ‘disembowelled’ in Camberwell.
