London bloodbath: Woman stabbed to death in Battersea – man arrested
A WOMAN has been stabbed to death in Battersea, with Scotland Yard confirming one man had been arrested.

Police said they were called to a property in Grayshott Road, Battersea, where they found a woman suffering from stab wounds. She died at the scene.
A Met Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called on Wednesday, 15 August at 12:38 hours to a report of a stabbing at an address in Grayshott Road, SW11.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
“A woman was found with a stab injury. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 13:41 hours
“A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
“The Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.”
A police investigation is underway.
