Fresh photos in a press release for state media show the tyrant clutching binoculars surrounded by a group of Army officials as he watches a test-firing of a new anti-aircraft weapons system.

The Government mouthpiece, the KCNA, did not reveal details of the launch but said it was organised by the Academy of National Defence Science – an agency believed to be developing nuclear weapons.

A KCNA spokesman said: “Kim Jong-un… watched the test of a new type of anti-aircraft guided weapon system organised by the Academy of National Defence Science.

“This weapon system, whose operation capability has been thoroughly verified, should be mass-produced to deploy all over the country… so as to completely spoil the enemy’s wild dream to command the air, boasting of air supremacy and weapon almighty.”

The new test comes almost a week after nuke-obsessed Kim latest ballistic missile test.
