A Dallas paramedic and a civilian have been shot by a limping gunman who is now on the run, sources say.
Dallas Fire and Rescue were responding to reports of a suicidal man when the incident occurred on Monday morning.
When they arrived at Reynolds Avenue on Monday morning, they saw the gunman walking down the street with a rifle in his hand. He opened fire before fleeing the scene, Fox 4 reports.
An EMT who was shot at the scene was taken to Baylor Medical Center. Police sources told CBS that the man died in the early afternoon.
At least one civilian was wounded in the crossfire and an ambulance was damaged by bullets.
