THE European Union will crumble completely if Brussels bigwigs do not resolve the bloc’s deepening crisis, a Swedish MP has warned.

Jonas Sjöstedt, the leader of the Left Party, hit out against the turmoil-ridden union and suggested it has been left reeling after one crisis after another.
Delivering a damning assessment of the EU’s track record since the 2009 eurozone crisis, the Eurosceptic MP said southern Europe was still suffering from the consequences of the bloc’s interference in their countries.
Following the financial crisis of 2007-2008, the bloc ordered a number of member states, including France and Greece, to reduce their budget deficits.
Greece and other southern European nations have struggled to recover since the financial crisis, with youth unemployment rampant.
Lambasting Eurocrats for not having been able to solve a crisis that started almost eight years ago, Mr Sjöstedt said: “The EU is in its deepest crisis yet.
“First, there was the Euro crisis where the EU went in and saved the banks but forced Greece and other countries to cut welfare and unemployment spiked.
